IP Com Network provides Hosted Integrated Communication Services (HICS) to reduce costs and increase business productivity and intelligence, by bridging CRM with all communication platforms, including mobile and video options.

 

IP Com was founded in 2000 by Andrés Otero and Rodrigo Guzmán and it is widely considered one of the pioneers in VoIP technology in the Latin American region. It is a privately held company with headquarters in Miami and fully staffed offices in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Guatemala.

FACTS:
• Over 200 interconnections with Tier 1 and Tier 2 carriers
• 2001- 214 License as International carrier granted by the FCC
• 2003- Multimedia carrier license granted in Brazil by Anatel
• 2004- Hosted in the NAP of the Americas in Miami, the largest data center in the south of the USA.
• 2006- Launch of voice enhanced services for enterprise and call center industry
• 2008- Intraestate Interxchange (IXC) license granted by the Public Service Commission in Florida
• 2009- License “Título Habilitante Convergente” granted by the Colombian Ministry of Communications

Andres Otero,
41, Co-Founder and CEO, Electrical Engineer Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota. Served as network engineer for Insatel in Colombia and Sao Paulo Brazil. Served as Engineer director for Insatel In Miami. Served as CTO for Mercotel in Miami. Participated in Program on Negotiation and dealing with people at Harvard Business School Cambridge Massachusetts.

 

 

 

Rodrigo Guzman, 54 Founder, Director, CTO, Electrical Engineer Universidad del Valle Cali Colombia. Twenty two years experience in systems integration and nine years in Telecommunications with emphasis in VoIP technology deployment.

 

Andres Forero, 40, Vice President of Sales & Business Development. Electrical engineer Universidad Javeriana Bogotá Colombia. Thirteen years experience in international business.

 



Ricardo Hernandez, 39 Electrical and telecommunication Engineer Commercial Director of IP-COM in Mexico. Served as pre sale engineering at Telech. Worked in wholesale, coordination and customers retention for Axtel the second largest telecommunications provider in Mexico.
 

 

Network Topology

The network is connected to a fiber optics smart ring at OC 48 level. Our servers are securely located at the NAP de Las Americas in Miami. This Tier-IV facility was the first purpose-built, carrier-neutral Network Access Point and is the only facility of its kind specifically designed to link Latin America with the rest of the world.
